HQ, Tel 01202 664088 Key Work Areas Co-ordinate and provide regional delivery of Accredited Programme & other training (e.g. Risk of Serious Harm) in accordance with Area and National requirements Provide oversight and support to a pool of Regional trainers Maintain a database of trained staff Provide support and guidance to Areas in order to maintain the quality and standards of Accredited Programmes Accredited Programmes are structured learning programmes devised to address offending behaviour. They are backed by research findings and normally based on cognitive/behavioural approaches. Most commonly they are delivered to groups of offenders. Consistency and integrity of programme delivery is an essential requirement. As such the training of programme facilitators/tutors is an important consideration. Staff are also afforded training in other work areas, for example; motivational interviewing, managing the risk of harm presented by offenders and pro-social modelling.
